Going Digital South Midlands is owned and operated by Peter Smart who, along with his team of experienced tutors, offers photography training courses and one-to-one workshops throughout the region.

Peter is a wildlife photographer and tour leader with many years of experience. In addition to tutoring courses and one-to-one workshops in his own region, he also runs wildlife workshops for other Going Digital regions around the UK. He also manages and leads Going Digital’s programme of Safaris and Overseas Tours.

We have recently added several new venues to the region including Moggerhanger Park near Biggleswade, Marston Vale Forest Centre near Bedford and Clophill Eco Lodges in Bedfordshire. This allows us to provide our students with even more scope to develop their photography skills ranging from our popular Explore Your Camera introductory workshops through to the advanced Wildlife Photography Masterclass.

For most of the year we offer our Big Cats and Birds of Prey photography workshops and masterclasses, while during the colder months for those less hardy souls we have introduced several new indoor courses to allow you to keep warm while developing your photography! Based at Clophill Eco Lodges in Bedfordshire we are offering Wildlife Macro Photography with the range of smaller animals from Teaching Talons.

We hold courses at all of our venues throughout the year and generally have dates available for booking over the next six months. If you are interested in booking a course further ahead then please contact us as we may already have dates reserved.
