ADOBE LIGHTROOM FOR RAW FILES

If you find the process of organising, adjusting and processing your RAW files time-consuming and frustrating, this software is the answer.   It offers photographers the vast majority of the tools that they need when working on their images – all under one roof.

This workshop is led by Jan Slack, who has used Lightroom since its pre-launch Beta versions became available.

Introduction to Adobe Lightroom

On this workshop you will learn how to:

  • manage your digital workflow
  • organise your RAW files
  • add metadata to enable efficient searching of your files
  • make your photos look their best by making reversible adjustments to exposure, sharpness and colour
  • make lens corrections such as removing vignetting

We will also discuss colour-management and its importance in the workflow.

There will be one computer per participant, so you will have hands-on experience throughout the day.
