ADOBE LIGHTROOM FOR RAW FILES

If you find the process of organising, adjusting and processing your RAW files time-consuming and frustrating, this software is the answer. It offers photographers the vast majority of the tools that they need when working on their images – all under one roof.

This workshop is led by Jan Slack, who has used Lightroom since its pre-launch Beta versions became available.

Introduction to Adobe Lightroom

On this workshop you will learn how to:

manage your digital workflow
organise your RAW files
add metadata to enable efficient searching of your files
make your photos look their best by making reversible adjustments to exposure, sharpness and colour
make lens corrections such as removing vignetting

We will also discuss colour-management and its importance in the workflow.

There will be one computer per participant, so you will have hands-on experience throughout the day.
