Landscape Photographs to be Proud Of
Creating a faithful photographic record of a striking landscape requires the ability to compose your shot and understand how the camera sees the scene. On our courses we aim to show you how you can take photos you will be proud of, not just 'snaps'.
You can attend just one of these workshops, or put together our Introduction to Landscape & Travel Photography, one of our Photo Walks and Further Landscape & Travel Photography to form a comprehensive course.
As well as traditional landscapes, these workshops will show you how to photograph cityscapes and buildings.
Landscape & Travel Photography Part 1On this workshop you will begin in the classroom by learning how to use the features of your camera as well as how composition affects your images, to take professional-looking landscape photographs. This will be followed by two photography sessions. | Landscape & Travel Photography Part 2Following on from Landscape & Travel Photography Part 1, this workshop will develop your understanding of how light affects your images, how to adjust your camera for the best possible images, use of filters in landscape photography and even more about composition. Photo Walks - a Gentle Stroll through the LandscapeOn our Photo Walks, we will help you to improve your photography, concentrating on seasonal highlights in the landscape around us. There will be a brief classroom-based introduction, then the rest of the day will be devoted to photography where you will learn how to take variety of photographs, from landscapes to close-ups, what to include in your photos and what to exclude, and how to make the best use of light and composition in your images for professional-looking shots.
