STUDENT AWARDS

Hi Tish and Andy, I took Tish's advice and went for the LRPS assessment last month and passed. Thanks. I'm absolutely thrilled because the assessors liked my panel so much that they kept it for their 'roadshow'. I've also been asked to submit the jpegs to the society for their photo library to be used for educational and other purposes. I was in Guernsey for a while in the past few months. A colleague whose husband owns a art gallery/framing shop saw some of my prints which I gave her has asked me to send six views of Guernsey to sell in their gallery. Thanks so much. Kind regards, Shian. LRPS Panel.
Hey Tish and Andy...I got my ARPS this month - I'm a very happy bunny. Thanks for your excellent training Marilyn. Taylor Made Imagery.

One-to-One Feedback

Hi Andy , many thanks the One to One yesterday. It was the best day out I've had for a long time. I had a quick look over the photos last night when I got in and I could not believe that I took half of them I'm so please at how they all came out over 150 good photos from one day. I've already planned a visit this weekend to a zoo in Hampshire. As you said on the first course about photography should be fun, you certainly make it a fun filled and enjoyable day, one I won't forget for a longtime. Regards Kerry.

Just a quick note for Andy to say - Thank you so much for giving Charlotte (and Paul) such a fantastic day on Saturday. She came home "full of it" and had some fantastic photos as well. They both found the day very informative and hopefully she will now be able to take better quality photos and increase her chance of getting an A* (she is already predicted an A). Thanks again, Caroline.

FEEDBACK

Hi Andy, Thanks for a wonderful day at Thames. It was really useful. I am looking forward to meet you for the second part.
Thanks a lot, Dr. Rajesh Gupta, London.

Hi Andy, Just a quick email to thank you for the Explore 1 course yesterday, it was very informative although I have realised just how much practise I need! No doubt I will be booking part 2 very soon. Many thanks, Jen.

The practical approach to the course really suited my learning style. All errors/bad photos are my doing and not the teaching. Here's a small collection of the better (not necessarily good) photos from tonight that I've posted to my site. I've only done some post processing work in Aperture on 3 of them, 2 of which are evident as they're black and white whilst the 3rd is the pedestrian crossing where I've altered the white balance. Ian. The photos are at my gallery site - Lorry's Vault.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed today's course at Bodiam, and especially the quality of Andys' (plural) tuition. Great fun. I guess entering pensionerhood I ought to learn a few of the things that I should have learned years ago, and I really felt much more confident about my camera where before it was baffling at times.
I've just phoned Tess in Dubai and she's really pleased too, so thanks.
Time now for a pint of the beer I bought at Bodiam.
Hope we meet again. Cheers, John Richardson.

Hi Tish, thought I'd send you a quick email to say I thoroughly enoyed the course on Saturday. I never knew my compact camera could do so much. I'm now planning to seek out some opportunties to practice what I've learnt. I'm particularly keen to remind myself of the points he made about F numbers and ISO...Thanks once again for organising a great course. Best wishes, Francis

Thanks again for all your help and advice on Saturday. I really enjoyed myself, Emmy.

Thank you so much for your help at the home studio course, it has helped me understand about studio lighting a lot more and has fueled me even more to reach my goal of being a fashion photographer Many Thanks Dan Brooker

I am sending this e-mail to you so that you have my work and private address to send over the 10D manual that you said you could get for me and the remote software for my Astrophotography. I would also like to say thank you very much for a great day out, both Jenny and myself really enjoyed and learned a lot in a very short time. I now feel much more confident in using my 10D and hope to get to Jenny’s standard or maybe even up to your standard tooJ. If I publish my photos to the web I will forwarded my link if you have a chance to look it over and give me feedback I would be really grateful. Kind regards,
Rob.

Just wanted to say thanks for the course on Saturday at Petworth, it was fantastic - will definitely be booking the follow up course. Rgds Bev.
