Photography Courses at Tilgate Park, Crawley - Park, Gardens & Animals

Improve your photography, from how to use more of the features of your camera to how to compose great shots at Tilgate Park in Crawley conveniently located just off the A23, and close to the M25. Tilgate Park has miles of woodland walks, three large lakes, ornamental shrubs and trees, lawns and beautiful flower gardens. This is the perfect place to gain confidence and practice your camera skills to improve your portrait, landscape and close-up photography. Our beginner's Going Digital Explore Your Camera Photography Courses are held The Tilgate Nature Centre - home to a variety of animals who model for these general photography courses:

White Park Cattle, Ponies, Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Poultry, Deer, Wallabies, Red Squirrels, Water Voles, Cranes, Bald Ibises, Owls, Pheasants, Ducks, Geese and other birds, Lizards, Snakes & Turtles...but NOT the otter pictured above since ''the great eascape'' although he may just be spotted waving from a nearby lake!

The Tilgate Nature Centre is home to a fantastic collection of insects including Tarantulas, Stick Insects, Giant Land Snails, Frogs, Scorpions and other ''Wee Beasties'' who are fantastic subjects for our our dedicated Close-up and Macro Photography Courses.

ALL courses at Tilgate Park run 10.30-4.30 because the Wardens are caring for the animals in the morning so the gates are only opened at 10am on the dot...

(If you want to take fantastic close-up pictures of otters, foxes and other British wildlife you will need to join us on a dedicated wildlife photography course at The British Wildlife Centre nearby...)

Hi Andy I just wanted to say thank you so much for a most inspiring, enjoyable day yesterday. Whilst I have been taking pictures for some time, I have been stuck in ‘lazy mode’ due to lack of confidence so this helped enormously!
