Offering inspiration for photographers all the year round, the beautiful Capel Manor Gardens are right at the top of North London just off the M25. Capel Manor Gardens’ beautiful 30 acre estate, first established in the late 13th century, provides a colourful and scented oasis surrounding a Georgian Manor House and Victorian Stables.
The abundance of beautiful subjects here, including 60 individual Gardens and landscapes with a variety of themes such as the Japanese Gardens, Water Gardens, statues, ponds and greenhouses (perfect for photography on rainy days), make Capel Manor Gardens an ideal venue to enjoy one of our photography courses. Capel Manor is also home to a number of animals such as Meerkats and Llamas. The farmyard animals include ducks, pigs and shire horses. The gardens and ponds provide a safe haven for a variety of wildlife including butterflies, bees and insects.
Weekday One-to-one Experience Day at Capel Manor Gardens, Forty Hall & Myddleton House
Private Tuition from Richard Berry at Capel Manor Gardens or other nearby locations such as Forty Hall or Myddleton House. Alternatively a combination of 2 or 3 of these nearby venues may be selected. Richard will tailor a day to your requirements taking you through all the things you need to know about using your camera to create the perfect image.
Do you know someone who would also like to have a better understanding of their digital camera? If so then you can bring them along at no extra cost or split the cost between you.

On The Day
Our workshops at Capel Manor Gardens start at 10.15am and finish at 4.15pm; please do not arrive before 10am. The Joining Instructions provide detailed directions, what to bring and additional information relating to the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE If the listed dates are full or are not convenient then we also run the same courses at Hitchin Priory close to Stevenage and Hughenden Manor near High Wycombe.
