PHOTOGRAPHY COURSES IN EDINBURGH

Studio based photography workshops in the bohemian district
Impressive 1000+ Sq ft Photographic Studio in the bohemian district of the New Town known as Broughton.
A short walk from Stockbridge and Broughton Street with their bustling bespoke shops and lively pubs, the area boasts an eclectic and ever expanding mix of artists, musicians, and new business developments.
Studio 32 is a brand new white space, with both natural light and studio equipment available for teaching and hire to aspiring photographers, with enough room to shoot two backdrops simultaneously and an in-house Photoshop expert.
The office area features powerful MAC and PC computers with calibrated monitors, plus projectors and laptops with the ability for tethered commercial shoots using our high-end Canon 5D mk ii’s and ‘L’ series lenses, and output to a dedicated large format printer. The modern furniture and equipment is complemented with a relaxed seating area for clients and quality stereo to put models at ease.
Going Digital Scotland will be offering DLSR1 + 2 workshops, plus Home Portraits, and a Masterclass in Studio Portraiture. A Fashion photo opportunity will be added later in the autumn. Additionally we are hoping to develop the Adobe Elements workshops for beginners and eventually a high-end Retouching module for portfolio work.
Beaverhall is surrounded by useful teaching features such as a park with wooded area for Wedding Training and Fashion; a kids play park for relaxed Family and Friends Portraits; the River of Leith Walkway for photo opportunities with ND filters and many unusual urban buildingds and graveyards.
Parking is available ten yards from our front door at 5.00 per day and the Studio has lifts, a kitchen, toilets and a huge natural light for make-up artists.
Studio hire available on request.
