Deer and Nature Walks on Wollaton Park. Join us for a walk in the grounds of Wollaton Hall and Deer Park. The walk is during rutting season so there's also the chance to capture them rutting, bellowing and generally behaving badly. The walk begins at 7am, to take advantage of the early morning light and we aim to finish at around 10.30am. Introduction to Landscape Photography
Gibraltar Point Introduction to Landscape Photography in Gibraltar Point

We won't be running this session in a classroom; instead we'll go though the usual presentation via Zoom one evening in the week before the workshop and the Zoom session will be interactive, so that you can ask questions. We'll meet up at Gibraltar Point at around 1pm to do three and a half hours of practical photography and at this time of year, sunset will be around 4pm, so we should be able to capture some beautiful sunset shots over the seascape. We'll be looking at composition, getting the perfect exposure and using graduated filters to help enhance your images and create a dramatic look. Filters will be available for you to borrow on the day and you'll need to bring a tripod to get the most out of this workshop. Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is a beautiful stretch of coastline running from close to Skegness down to the mouth of the Wash, so we'll be photographing beachscapes as well as landscapes and the sunset. As we won't be finishing the day in a classroom, we won't be doing the usual review of work, however you'll have the option of sending some images and doing a 121 review over Zoom.
