One-to-One Experience Days South Midlands

Join one of our experienced Going Digital South Midlands tutors on a weekday One-to-One Photography Workshop. Whether you are a beginner or you wish to improve your photography skills, we can offer a day based on our existing courses or designed for your specific requirements.

Topics can range from learning more about your camera, improving composition or photographing subjects that are new to you. Furthermore we can also help you with specialist topics such as photo-editing, colour management, studio lighting, and mounting prints for exhibition and sale.

Location

Our One-to-One Workshops can be arranged at one of our regular venues across the region, other locations which we use or a suitable place which is familiar to you. Our regular venues include:

• Hughenden Manor, Buckinghamshire

• The Sun Hotel, Hitchin, Hertfordshire

• Capel Manor Gardens, North London

• Moggerhanger Park, Bedfordshire

• Forest Centre, Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire
  

Our tutors can also visit you at your home and work with your computer, software, printer and photography equipment to tailor the day for your needs and help you make the best use of the time.

Time

Our workshops are normally offered on weekdays and run from 10am to 4pm but we are happy to adjust these times to suit you.

Costs

The cost of our one-to-one workshops vary depending on venue selected, entry charges (if applicable) and any travelling expenses for the tutor. An indication of cost is provided below and a final quotation, including any additional costs, will be agreed with you before you book.

One-to-one core subject workshops start from £200 (but will quoted with any tutor travelling expenses before booking) and a second person can usually join free of charge, excluding any applicable venue entry fees. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Specialist Topics including Photo Editing with Rod Corston and Richard Berry

The majority of our specialist One-to-One Workshops in Bedfordshire and north Buckinghamshire are tutored by Rod Corston, while Richard Berry tutors photo editing in and around Hertfordshire. Rod has taught digital Post Processing courses at local colleges for many years and is an experienced user of Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Apple Aperture. Richard is an Adobe Certified Associate in Visual Communication Using Adobe Photoshop CS6. Our tutors are also happy to visit your home to help you set up and get the best from your own computer, software and photography equipment.
