If you’re new to processing your image files, or you don’t particularly know what you’re doing, we'll run through everything you need to know when processing your image. The mystery behind all those sliders will be a mystery no more!
In this workshop we aim to cover: Import / Exporting your images / Captions and keywords / Organising in collections and smart collections. Selecting images using flags, filters and ratings, Develop Module (Global adjustments), Histogram / Tone adjustments, corrections for under / over exposure / White balance & adjustment / Contrast & clarity, vibrance and saturation / Using tone curves / Colour Channels / Sharpening / Noise reduction / Lens corrections / Effects / Cropping and straightening, aspect ratios / Spot removal and Localised adjustments / Graduated filters and the adjustment brushes / Linking Lightroom with Photoshop / HDR/Panoramic stitching (requires latest version of Lightroom), Local adjustment module, Gradient filter /Radial filter / brush filter
Output: Exporting your images, File formats and their usages, Sizes and resolution
To get the most out of this workshop we recommend you bring a laptop with Lightroom Classic installed. We will supply a Raw image for you to work on but you are also encouraged to bring some of your own Raw or Jpeg files. Lightroom can be downloaded for 30 days as a free trial.
