Photo Editing Workshop 2 : Introduction to Photoshop
This is a workshop dedicated to Photoshop. During the day we will cover: how Photoshop works, importing from Lightroom/Desktop/Bridge, Photoshop Camera Raw, setting up a workspace, tool bars, tool options, overview of layers, adjustment layers, history panes. We will introduce you to the most used tools, select and select mask, crop, healing brushes/patch tool, clone stamp, text tool and dodge and burn.
Although this is a follow on from our Lightroom workshop no prior knowledge of Photoshop is required and it can be a standalone workshop for someone just interested in Photoshop.
Led by our guest tutor Caro Dell who is a member of The Guild of Photographers and The Societies of Photographers, Caro shoots for both clients and for competition both of which require editing skills, so she is ideally placed to pass on her knowledge to students who would like to know where to start with editing.
For this workshop you will need to bring a laptop with Full Photoshop installed (not Elements).
Photoshop can be downloaded for a 30 day trial free of charge.
We will supply a Raw image for you to work on but you are also encouraged to bring some of your own.
