On most of these workshops you'll be 'in the field' throughout, where you'll learn how to work on the move, to review and take decisions on your photographs on the LCD screen - essential skills for both travel and wildlife safari photography, and you will have the opportunity to practice using your zoom lenses and other kit, with feedback throughout.
Cameras: DSLR, Mirrorless Compact System (CSC), Four-Thirds, Bridge, Superzoom.

Northumberland Zoo
Eshottheugh Farm, Felton, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE65 9QHA day with a Professional Photographer with lots of Hints and Tips throughout the day to get better photographs and to unlock the magic in your camera, get out of auto mode and learn useful techniques and skills to help you get the shots you are after with our hands-on workshop. Using your existing knowledge plus the help of myself, Iain, out and about in the zoo to capture awesome portraits of the animals.
This workshop is for enthusiast level photographers who have any type of camera (compact/bridge/DSLR/Mirrorless) and wants to learn more about them and what the buttons and dials do. Get some of that troublesome jargon explained in a nice and easy to understand manner.
The workshops will consist of a brief explanation of the required settings over a drink and then spending the rest of the day wandering around the 17 acres of the zoo putting what you have learned into practice. Maximum of 5 students only.
The workshop runs from 10am - 3pm and does not include lunch or entry fees.
A good cafe is on site but you are welcome to bring a packed lunch plus drinks.
