GOING DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY TUTORS

Meet our tutors.  We are all experienced and enthusiastic photographers, keen to pass on our skills to others.  Our aim is to demystify photography and show you how easy it can be to take professional-looking photographs.  Our workshops have the same content, wherever you are in the UK, so you can move seamlessly from one region to another while building your photographic skills.

Jan Slack - East Midlands

A keen photographer throughout her life, and founder of Going Digital, Jan had many years' experience as a training manager and has been teaching digital photography since 2001.  Her aim is to show people how to get good value for money from their cameras and how easy it can be to take good photographs - so much easier and more enjoyable than spending hours at the computer trying to improve disappointing photographs.  Jan is continually developing the workshops on offer to keep up to date with new technology, to meet students' needs and to offer something new.  She has used a digital camera since they were first launched and enjoys photographing moving subjects, from flowing water in landscapes to sports and animal photography.
