On Sunday 6th September at Hardwick Hall Derbyshire, our Close-up & Macro Photography workshop will include Dragonflies and Moths.

Introduction to Close-Up & Macro Photography

Learn how to use your camera creatively for stunning, well-composed close-up photographs. Our aim is to show you how to take photographs that require only minimal adjustments or editing in Photoshop/Elements.

What you will learn:

how to use the features of your camera for eye-catching close-ups
how to take macro shots using compact cameras
what you can achieve with an SLR camera and additional accessories required for macro photography
good composition for stunning images
the importance of correct exposures
lighting techniques
how to take product shots that could be used on eBay or your own website

Review and Discuss Your Photos

You will have two photographic sessions, with assistance on hand throughout, and the opportunity to review and discuss your photos as a group.
