Low Light & Fill-in Flash

Learn how to use your camera to capture images in challenging lighting conditions, to create atmospheric photographs.   You will have two photographic sessions and the opportunity to review and discuss your photos as a group.

  • How to use fill-in flash to balance poor lighting conditions
  • Use of flash for backlit shots
  • How flash can be used creatively for stunning, three-dimensional images

Equipment

 This workshop is suitable for any camera with a dedicated hot-shoe mounted flash (a flash unit which is compatible with your camera), or a 'pop-up' type built-in flash.

To get the best out of this workshop you will require a tripod (full height). 

Optional equipment - cable or remote shutter release.
