On our Photo Walks, we will help you to improve your photography, concentrating on seasonal highlights in the landscape around us.
You will learn how to take a variety of photographs, from landscapes to close-ups, how to compose a good photograph, and make the best use of light for professional-looking shots.
Everyone is welcome, newcomer* and more experienced photographer alike (digital or film), and if you have already attended any of our other workshops, you are sure to enjoy the opportunity to use your new skills to photograph a wider range of subjects. We will be walking at a gentle pace, stopping off regularly to photograph whatever looks good on the day. Although we will be out and about for most of the session, we will meet at a classroom for tea and coffee (with toilet facilities) and return at the halfway stage for a lunch break.
We aim to have small groups, so you will benefit from personal advice and tuition throughout the day.
These workshops are suitable for compact and SLR cameras, both digital and film. To get the best out of this workshop you will require a tripod (full height) - a few tripod (full height)s may be available to borrow on the day (please ask when making your booking).
Optional equipment - polarising filter, graduated filters (grey or ND), remote shutter release.
You will require strong shoes or walking boots and appropriate outdoor clothing. Full details will be in our joining instructions.
Please bring a packed lunch and drinks for the day.
When we receive your booking form, we will send you full details and a list of things to bring, and where to find us.
