STREET PHOTOGRAPHY ONE-TO-ONE DAYS - ROD CORSTON
East of England and East Midlands Regions
My
interest in Street Photography was inspired by the French
photographers of the 1920/30’s (Eugene Atget, Henri Cartier
Bresson and Brassai) and despite having shot images in
both film and digital since the late 80’s, I still enjoy the
buzz of a good snatched shot.
Good street images require patience,
planning and the ability to spot good scenes in the making –
plus a good working knowledge of your camera.
It does take some nerve to get in close,
but there’s a real buzz in capturing what Cartier Bresson called
the Decisive Moment. He also said – “Your first 10,000
photographs are your worst.”
Why not join me on a
One to One day in the city, get some great images and learn
the skills and techniques involved in good street craft.
