Belvoir Castle, easy access from Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire
Belvoir Castle is set on a hilltop amidst the rolling countryside of the Vale of Belvoir and is home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland. The estate covers some 15,000 acres (120 km²) and the gardens near the castle offer a stunning display in the summer months. For the photographer, there are countless, all year round photo opportunities, ranging from the stunning architecture of the castle, to the gardens, sculptures and water features.
What to Photograph in Spring
Belvoir boasts some of the finest views in the area and of course the formal gardens will soon be ablaze with colour, so there will be something new for us to photograph on every workshop.
