Unless you ask to subscribe to our occasional newsletters, we will only use your contact details to communicate with you regarding your booking or purchase.
You have the right to remove your details from our database. To do so just login to your Customer account.
We will contact you by email where possible, but we ask for your telephone number when booking a workshop in case we have to contact you urgently - we will not otherwise contact you by telephone.
When you make a booking for a workshop, you will have the opportunity to opt to receive our seasonal newsletters and special offers. If you choose not to receive our newsletters you will not receive any unsolicited mail from Going Digital.
BOOKINGS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
We require payment in full at the time of booking. We will send an email confirming your booking, with full details of the date and venue, immediately on receipt of your payment. We regret that, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations Act 2013 relating to events on specific dates, we cannot accept cancellations, however we will use our best endeavours to transfer your booking to an alternative workshop (see Your Agreement below).
By making a booking on a Going Digital workshop, you are entering into an agreement as follows:
If I cancel my booking(s) - I understand that I must notify my local contact by email (full details are in your Order Confirmation email). Refunds (less a £15 administration fee) or transfers to other workshops in the same Going Digital region can only be given if Going Digital is able to fill my place(s). In the case of a booking paid for in full or in part by gift voucher, we will issue a credit for the gift voucher value.
I understand that during my tuition with Going Digital I may visit a variety of outdoor and indoor locations. I understand that during the full duration of the course, and when I am visiting, or travelling to or from these locations, I do so entirely at my own personal risk and take full responsibility for my actions.
I have read and understood Going Digital's advice below on Insurance, Trip Cancellation Insurance and Bookings for Under 16's.
I acknowledge that the data that I provide when making my booking(s) will be held centrally by Going Digital Limited and by the proprietor of the relevant Going Digital regional franchise.
I acknowledge that if I prefer Going Digital not to use my images taken during my workshop, I must inform my tutor on the day of the workshop.
I acknowledge that if I prefer Going Digital not to use any images of me, taken by other students or my tutor during my workshop, I must inform my tutor on the day of the workshop.
Obligations of Going Digital
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, Going Digital is forced to cancel a workshop we will offer you the choice of an available place on any of our future workshops in the same Going Digital region, or a full refund.
It is advisable that you have adequate insurance for your own photographic equipment. During our workshops your equipment may be subject to the elements or accidental damage. We are not responsible for any damage incurred to your photographic equipment or belongings whilst participating on one of our courses.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
If you are travelling to the area especially for a workshop, we recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. We are not able to vary from our stated refund policy regardless of your situation.
Bookings for Under 16's
Please note that under 16's must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. We regret that we cannot accept under 16's on certain workshops - please see the appropriate venue page for details.
We require payment in full at the time of your purchase. We will send an email confirming your purchase with a printable copy of your voucher(s) immediately on receipt of your payment.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations Act 2013, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase of your gift voucher, when you can request a refund. To request a refund, please email email@example.com, stating your gift voucher number(s). Your refund will be issued within 7 working days.
Gift Voucher Redemptions
Going Digital Gift Vouchers can be redeemed against any of our forthcoming workshops (subject to availability of places) and one-to-one training, for up to 9* months from the date of purchase. The workshop or training day booked can be after the expiry date.
The workshop should be booked in the usual way, and the voucher number(s) redeemed on the booking form.
If you don't spend the full value of your voucher, we'll issue you with another voucher for the unspent balance.
Going Digital cannot guarantee the availability of workshops at any venue.
Going Digital Gift Vouchers are not refundable or redeemable for cash.
