I use all of my teaching experience to the full in order to create an enjoyable relaxed atmosphere, with clear and simple instructions and explanations. I am also very familiar with species names and behaviour which enhance my ability to help everyone get some wonderful wildlife photographs, be these in the wild or within the confines of a zoo for example.
I run Going Digital West of England & South Wales.
With regards to success, I believe the proof of the pudding is in the eating! Here are a few review comments which give an insight into my teaching style:
“I've done various courses over the years and not really got to grips with my camera, but Peter explained it's use so well, that I now have the confidence to take my photography further, more seriously and more importantly have the confidence to enjoy it. A thoroughly nice man and very good teacher.”
“Your technical help was in all respects excellent, on camera settings, composition, suggested subjects, and the valuable comments made when you inspected our efforts. There was a very comfortable, pleasant atmosphere the whole weekend, and I have taken away many useful ideas to apply to future photography sessions.”
“Peter is an excellent instructor, very friendly and has a very good teaching style. I think the content was pitched just right, being challenging to learn such a lot in a day but with an appropriate amount of stuff to get us started.”
“I have attended many courses on a range of topics during my career, and would rank this 2 days training as one of the best I have ever attended. Even though I am an absolute beginner, and a number of the others on the course already had several years experience, it was clear that we all learnt a great deal and all seemed keen to build on what we had learnt. The course was run in a relaxed manner and was fun to attend. I have come away with so many things to experiment with and have no doubt that I shall now progress well with my camera,”
“Thank you for a very informative and entertaining session yesterday. I'd like to give you my feedback on a one-to-one basis: Venue: Excellent, Tutor: Excellent, Content: Excellent, (I could go on). I liked your style and the way that you encouraged questions.”
