Course Creative Landscapes

WOODLAND AND WATER - Descending from Baildon Moor, the ancient woodland, rocky crags and Lodepit Beck will allow us to get really creative with our photography. Capture detail, textures and patterns within the woodland and rocks, and try your hand at blurring the water rushing over the rocks at Lodepit Beck. Filters are provided for you to use on the day. A tripod is essential and we have some available to borrow, please make a note on the booking form. To prepare you for the day we hold a Zoom Presentation a few days before (usually the Wednesday around 6.30 pm). The Zoom session is recorded for those who can't make it and for anyone who wants a refresher before we meet. We will then meet up at Shipley Glen for the practical part of the workshop which will be about 3 and a half hours starting at 9.00 am. Finally, everyone has the option to send me some of their pictures from the day and have a personal photo review over Zoom. Terrain A short walk from the car park, you'll need to walk the steep-sided valley to make the most of the opportunity. Previous Experience: To get the most from this workshop, you should have attended our beginner's photography course or be familiar with the use of Aperture Priority, Exposure Compensation and ISO.
