We're delighted to be offering three hour photography experiences again at White Post Farm in North Nottinghamshire photographing a variety of fascinating creatures such as snakes, tarantulas, lizards, frogs, cockroaches, geckos, stick insects, millipedes and giants snails.Craig, their handler, will be with us to introduce us to them and tell us all about them, along with tutor and photographer Louise, who will guide you through photographing these amazing creatures and will be with you offering advice and guidance on composition to create stunning images, the importance of depth of field in close up work, the use of props and backgrounds, and any technical information or help that you might need. Photographing Fascinating Small Creatures. We're delighted to be offering three hour photography experiences again at White Post Farm in North Nottinghamshire photographing a variety of fascinating creatures such as snakes, tarantulas, lizards, frogs, cockroaches, geckos, stick insects, millipedes and giants snails. Craig, their handler, will be with us to introduce us to them and tell us all about them, along with tutor and photographer Louise, who will guide you through photographing these amazing creatures and will be with you offering advice and guidance on composition to create stunning images, the importance of depth of field in close up work, the use of props and backgrounds, and any technical information or help that you might need. There will be a Zoom presentation in the week leading up to the workshop, which is usually on a Tuesday evening and the practical part of the workshop, which lasts three hours, will be at White Post Farm on 16th May from 10am until 1pm.
There will be a maximum of five people, to allow you to get as close as possible to each animal and to allow for lots of individual attention.
The workshop requires a minimum of three people to run; if there are less than this, your session will roll over to a future date of your choice. The price includes entrance into White Post Farm. Ideally you'll have been on a Part 1 workshop and have a working knowledge of aperture, ISO and shutter speed. A macro lens would be advantageous.
